Gratitude (Thanksgiving)

Grateful to be surrounded by a family of creatives. This Thanksgiving Mom prepared a beautiful and delicious meal for us. Around the dinner table we shared stories, laughter and new music made by the boys.  Mom showed us her incredibly handmade cape coats and reminded us that it is important to put energy into your gifts when you discover them. "Don't wait until you're my age!"she says. Mekahel, my son the musician, echoed this sentiment with a statement from his economics professor. He stated, "the collegiate education system is antiquated and formulaic, based on mass production. The model has changed, equity is gained through the use of talent." Another confirmation to be focused on purpose.

Awesome to be born into a family of creatively gifted people. It was a festive and joyous day filled with family, nurture, celebration and life lessons.
